Android only. It takes about two minutes.

Steps
- Download the file above. Android will warn you about installing outside the Play Store —
that is expected, because this app cannot be listed there. The next section tells you
exactly what to tap.
- Open the downloaded file and allow installation from your browser when asked.
- Open Lapak and enter your mobile number.
- Grant Accessibility access when it asks. This is what lets it read the
booking card. Without it, nothing works.
- Grant Display over other apps for the floating control.
- Leave it in Monitor mode for a shift. Check the Activity screen and
see whether you agree with its decisions before switching to Active.
If Play Protect blocks the install
It probably will, at least once. Google shows this warning for any app that did not come
from the Play Store and has not yet been installed by many people. It is not a virus
warning and it does not mean anything is wrong with the file — but you should still only
ever download from this page, and you can check the number at the bottom to be sure.
You do not need to switch Play Protect off. On the warning:
- Tap More details, then Install anyway.
- If it says Send app for scanning, tap that and wait — the install continues
after a few seconds.
Only if there is no Install anyway option at all:
- Open Play Store → tap your photo (top right) → Play
Protect → gear icon.
- Turn off Scan apps with Play Protect.
- Install Lapak.
- Turn it back on. It protects you from everything else on your phone,
and leaving it off to run one app is a bad trade.
If Accessibility says “Restricted setting”
On Android 13 and newer, an app installed from outside the Play Store is not allowed to
turn on Accessibility until you say so once. You will see “For your security, this
setting is currently unavailable.” This is a one-time step:
- Settings → Apps → Lapak.
- Tap the ⋮ menu at the top right.
- Tap Allow restricted settings.
- Now go back and turn on Accessibility for Lapak.
Important for Vivo, Oppo, Realme and Xiaomi phones
These phones shut background apps down aggressively, and will stop the app mid-shift
unless you tell them not to.
- Battery → find Lapak → allow background activity / do not restrict
- Auto-start → turn it on for Lapak
- Recent apps → lock Lapak so clearing recents does not kill it
The Checks screen inside the app tells you if any of this is still missing.
Only ever download from this page. A copy from anywhere else may have
been modified. We will never ask for your Rapido, Ola, Uber or Porter password — not in the app,
not on WhatsApp, not ever. Anyone who does is not us.
